How I stopped calling it a dream and made it my plan.
There’s something about travel – the air of an unknown city, the taste of a new spice or the sound of a new tongue, that can change the world as you know it. But you have to let it, it doesn’t happen over night, with a glance at a famous landmark or the snap of an exotic photo.
Do you ever find yourself in a place and ask yourself “What the heck am I doing here?” unable to find anything with the slightest resamblance to an answer? Yeah, hi! That’s me! I was that person that nagged about where I lived without ever a clue of how the heck to change it. Until one day I got on a plane and flew halfway across the world. Ok that’s a bit of an exaturation.. but I did fly across the Atlantic, that’s gotta count for something! Bottom line, I absolutely fell in love with travel!
Though I’m still working on finding that ideal place I can wholeheartedly call home, I started Whispers of Adventure to share my journey with you.
I didn’t always appreciate the idea of travel. Not because I didn’t care for it simply always seemed to be just out of the reach of the realms of my reality. Too expensive, too difficult, too lonely, too scary. Sound familiar?
It can be daunting and intimidating to leave what you’re familiar with and step into a new world of endless possibilities. What if I make a mistake? What if I get lost? What if I get mugged and die? But believe it or not, the most terrifying question you must ask yourself is – what if I never try?
Travel inspired me beyond what I ever thought was possible. It made me grow and blossom and develop a hunger for more.
I created Whispers of Adventure to inspire you to search for yourself in places you’ve never seen. To ache not just for foreign lands but for the unknown around every corner you approach. I want you to feel the courage, I lacked for so long, to seize each moment and make it your own. I want to inspire you to go after your dreams and not feel caged by the ignorance of others. To seize the impossible and succeed at anything you set your mind to.
So grab my hand! I’m taking you on an adventure!
